Quoits is a game rich in history, dating back to Medieval Times on the British Isles. Its a game that our Founding Fathers brought to North America. Today, it's a game that is enjoyed in many different ways, by different geographic regions of Northeastern United States and Canada. At times a highly competitive sport, although mostly played in leisure at either a backyard barbeque or a friendly toss in someone's garage.

Throw your rubbers anywhere.....*

Traditionally, the game was played on two heavy (60 LBs each), sometimes immovable, slate boards, (rules of the game). Unfortunately, these cumbersome pieces often made the game very limited to where it could be played, as players were uninterested in moving these boards or traveling with them. American Quoit has solved this problem, by offering lightweight composite quoit boards (weighing 20 LBs each) that can easily be taken anywhere (products and merchandise).

Quoits are better in color.....*

Furthermore, the game lacked color. Historically, a buyer could have any color quoit so long as it was black. This really hindered the game from appealing to the masses. Once again, American Quoit has solved this problem, by offering you not only colored quoits, but also colored boards themselves..
